Laminam

Laminam, Porcelain Slabs, I Naturali collection, Ardesia Bianco a Spacco

Ardesia Bianco a Spacco draws inspiration from Pietra di Lavagna slate, a natural material extracted only from quarries in Liguria, Italy, whose use reached its peak in Italy in urban architecture of the medieval and Renaissance eras. Featuring a compact surface with a silky-smooth feel, the Bianco finish draws on and transcends tradition, offering new and sophisticated options for use on interiors and exteriors. Ardesia Bianco a Spacco is part of the I Naturali series, a series inspired by the earth and its material resources, creating new canons of beauty, elegance and distinction on ceramic slabs of timeless appeal. Delicate and highly sophisticated, it envelops the spaces it furnishes in a warm embrace, seeming almost to bestow a touch of familiarity. The large sizes of 1200x3000 mm and 1620x3240 mm are available in different thicknesses, depending on their application of use. They all share the R10 anti-slip finish which makes them particularly suitable for residential and commercial settings where walkway surfaces are frequently exposed to water. The term “A Spacco” refers to the specific craftsmanship technique carried out on the ceramic slab, visible in its finish.

Technical details

All the surfaces in the I Naturali series are distinguished by the technical excellence of Laminam; they are resistant to impact, stains and scratches. The versatility of ceramic means the surfaces retain their specifications even when they are exposed to heat, frost and UV rays, with an average water absorption of 0.1%. I Naturali is a totally natural product that is entirely food-safe because it does not release elements in a solution (even in the event of a fire) and does not allow mould and mildew to form.
